Orlando is the perfect stallion with the best bloodlines of Europe.
His sire Heartbreaker is one of the best sport horse producers of this moment. Moreover Heartbreaker himself jumps successfully at Grand Prix level with Peter Geerink. In 1999 they became 4th in the Grand Prix of Aachen.
Orlando's dam is by Darco, who himself earned a lot of money in sports with his rider Ludo Philippaerts. They won the World Cup Qualifiers of London and 's-Hertogenbosch and they finished 6th at the World Equestrian Games of Stockholm. In show jumping Darco is represented by his offspring Jolly Boy, King Darco, Nistria etc.
Orlando's granddam sire Gibramino is a full brother of the highly respected French breeding stallion Quastor and the international jumper Silvana B.
In the fourth generation we find the essential thoroughbred influence through Alcanar xx.
Orlando's dam Nefista van de Ruiterboshoeve was a breeding mare but also participated successfully at the Belgian Cycle for 5 and 6 year olds and won several regional classes.
Orlando's full brother Versace was third in the Foal Championship of Evergem and 5nd in Oud Heverlee. Versace is an approved stallion in BWP.
Orlando gave a striking performance test in Oude Heverlee. The judges described him as an excellent jumper with an superb technique and a lot of scope. Orlando is easy to ride en his walk, trot and canter are strong.
Orlando is doing very well with Dirk Demeersman. He was twice the Style champion in Aken. Orlando had 6 at 6 clear rounds in the tour for Young Horses in Belgium. On the world breeding championships he was winning the troosting. In Mechelen he was winning the Stallion class for 5 year old approved stallions.
