He was the sensation at the 1998 Oldenburg Hengsttage, ranking in the Premium ring. Talent, technique and caution – these are all qualities that can only be rated as excellent. The judges at the 2001 and 2002 Bundeschampionat in Warendorf agreed and gave him the highest scores in all of the tests for his age group which put him in the headlines of the best horse magazines. No wonder, his basic paces are also of the finest quality, especially his walk. In 2000, two of Cordalmé Z's off-spring participated in the Sydney Olympics and a large number of other off-spring by this chestnut were also competing internationally. The dam, State Premium and Elite mare, Grannuschka, is also the dam of Conterno Grande, Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg approval. Couleur Rubin is her second Premium stallion son. Couleur Rubin absolved his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1999, where as anticipated, he gained the highest scores in jumping. His first starts in novice and elementary showjumper tests gained him wins and high placements. Couleur Rubin's first off-spring stand out because of their high degree of elasticity and sporty look. Since the 2003 season, Couleur Rubin is ridden by Ludger Beerbaum.
