Breeder of the Year:
Last weekend there was a stallion show at the facilities of the Breugelhoeve Equestrian Center in Peer, and one of the highlights in the evening was the election of the " Breeder of the Year " in the northern Limburg area. The award was given to Gerald Lenaerts, for his life-time involvement in the warmblood breeding in Belgium. In the picture from the left to the right, we see Theo Kelchtermans ( mayor of Peer, Belgium ), Carl Rijcken ( chairman of the BWP, the Belgian Warmblood Ass. ), Gerald and Sigrid of Stud farm Overis, and Jan Winters ( chairman of the BWP district ).
